Baldo J. Dattolo Head and Neck Cancer Research Fund
In a true grass-roots collaboration, Baldo J. Dattolo and Cheryl Calello, longtime partner of the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, are raising money for the Baldo J. Dattolo Head and Neck Cancer Research Fund.
Baldo is 49 years young, never smoked and recently was diagnosed with throat and thyroid cancers. After countless conversations about the need for a throat cancer fund that can raise funding for and call attention to patients who are undergoing radiation treatments, these two life-long friends said, "Let's get this fund started." The fund, which already has $5,000 in it from Cheryl's previous fundraising efforts, will support head and neck cancer research, education, and patient care.
Cheryl and Baldo feel no donation is too small. They hope you will give what you can, when you can, for future patients to be able to heal and stay strong and healthy. They both thank you for your generosity. And for those asking what Baldo needs, please know that this is how you can help — a legacy fund, if you will, for generations to come.
We are so grateful to those of you who have helped us raise $6,515.30 to date, including the following people whose cash gifts are not included on the thermometer:
