On September 12, 2019, the Foundation for Morristown Memorial Medical Center hosted our annual Memorial Wall Dedication. Friends and family gathered to celebrate loved ones lost over the previous year and remember lives beautifully lived, and hearts deeply loved.

 The evening featured a presentation of each of the names commemorated on the wall and remarks by Foundation Board Chair, Finn Wentworth, Neonatologist, Gaines Mimms, MD, and Coordinator of Integrative Oncology at Morristown Medical Center, Jean Marie Rosone. Attendees at the dedication also enjoyed a performance by local singer/songwriter Meghan Jenkins.

Each year, the Memorial Wall at Morristown Medical Center pays tribute to about 80+ individuals and provides a place for quiet reflection and meditation year-round. Housed in Rooke Pavilion and open to the public, visitors can come at any time to pay their respects. The names of those for whom a memorial gift is made are displayed for the entirety of the year and the tile bearing the loved one’s name is given to the family at the end of that time as a remembrance.
