New IV Poles for the Valerie Center
The Valerie Fund Children's Center at Goryeb Children's Hospital provides health care for children with cancer and blood disorders. As a member of Kids for Kids, a group of teen leaders who help to raise funds for Goryeb Children's Hospital, I realized that the children at the Valerie Center are in critical need of new kid-friendly IV poles. Many children spend countless hours getting IV treatments, and the current IV poles are scary and heavy to carry around. The new kid-friendly IV Poles are brightly decorated with animal pole toppers or cartoon characters and have a wheeled skateboard-like base. These kid-friendly IV poles are much easier to transport and can make the lengthy IV treatments much more bearable. My goal is to raise as much money as possible for the Valerie Center to buy kid-friendly IV poles and to brighten the days of as many pediatric patients as I can!
Please help me make a difference and remember no donation is too small!
