Kids4Kids Raises More Than $100,000 to Support Goryeb Children’s Hospital

juniorsforgoryeb.pngKids4Kids, the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center’s youth philanthropy committee, recently celebrated a milestone: raising more than $100,000 in four years through their annual Juniors Fore Goryeb golf outing. As the name implies, the golf outing, which began in 2017, is run entirely by kids (with help from their parents) for kids.

Funds raised support Goryeb Children’s Hospital patients and their families and have contributed to the purchase of Xbox consoles for inpatient rooms; Calling All Kids, the 24-hour children’s television network that broadcasts at Goryeb Children’s Hospital run by the Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center; and Mickey’s Garden enhancements. Donations from most recent outing on June 2, 2021, funded the installation of a sea-themed mural at the Valerie Fund Children's Center at Goryeb Children's Hospital and the Good Neighbor Fund. The completed mural will provide much-needed distraction for children and adolescents undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders. The Good Neighbor Fund offers financial assistance patients and their families to offset daily living expenses.
