Former Foundation for Morristown Medical Center Trustee and donor Bill Conger knows what it’s like to watch a loved one struggle with a chronic disease. His mother endured the slow decline of Alzheimer’s disease for 15 years, as did his grandmother before her. Since then, two of his friends now struggle with the early stages of dementia. As a caretaker for family and friends, when he found out there was an opportunity to help fund a caregiver training series at Morristown Medical Center, he was quick to endow the course in its entirety.
On September 12, 2019, the Foundation for Morristown Memorial Medical Center hosted our annual Memorial Wall Dedication. Friends and family gathered to celebrate loved ones lost over the previous year and remember lives beautifully lived, and hearts deeply loved.
Since 2006, donors have contributed $2.3 million through the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center to the Morristown community and more than $270,000 has been put towards Community Health Days, which have been held for the past 24 years. Read the full press release.
